Tuesday Classes

Ages 6-10. Learn the basics of ballroom and latin dance, no partner required. Dances covered: Cha, Cha, Cha, Samba, Waltz, Quickstep and Jive.

6:15 – 7:15pm Latin Fitness Class

A fun class for fitness and moving your body to some awesome latin dance music. No dance experience required and no partners needed! Fitness attire and joggers are perfect! $15 per person or purchase a 10 card to save 10%

6:30 – 8:00pm

Put your skills and routines to the test, this session runs through Ballroom, New Vogue & Latin dances, music provided.

$20 Per Dancer

Cold drinks and water are available for purchase.

Thursday Classes

6:30 – 7:30pm
Development Class

(Cootharinga Hall- 799 Flinders Street)

This class is for the intermediate level dancer, a mixture of ballroom and latin dances combined.

7:30 – 8:30pm
Dancensations Social Class

(Cootharinga Hall- 799 Flinders Street)

Incorporating two dances, along with some fun progressive dances mixed in.

These classes are designed for the newcomer wanting to learn basic steps at a gentle pace.

Dances covered in our classes include Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Samba, Cha cha cha, Rumba and Jive.

You don’t have to bring a partner, there are plenty of people to dance with.

Thursday classes are $15 per person or $20 each for participation in both classes.

Private Lessons

Private Lessons are available in Ballroom (standard), Latin American,New Vogue and Wedding Dance by appointment.

Private lessons are the quickest way to improve your dance skills, let our expert teachers guide you on your path to dance excellence.

Lessons are available on Tuesday and Thursday evenings with Sunday’s by request.

Dancensations is a registered training facility under Dancesport Australia rules and guidelines.

A very enjoyable way to learn to dance as it has a good atmosphere but the teaching is very professional.
